Food ration NRG-5 manufactured in Germany for many years has been an established and extremely popular emergency ration.
NGR-5 is used in civilian and military survival kits, and, thanks to its properties, popular in prepper and survivalist circles. In emergency situations, this high-calorie, fast-absorbing food can save lives.
NRG-5 food ration are high-energy, compressed cubes-biscuits that are made from plant-based ingredients - proasted wheat, vegetable oil, sugar, vegetable protein, malt, vitamins, minerals.
Package contains 9 cubes individually wrapped in foil, making it easy to dispense food or divide in a group. All packed pressurized in a strong, airtight, multilayer package, thanks to which the ration has a20-year shelf life. NRG-5 is resistant to varying temperatures and high humidity.
Its small size (14 x 8 x 6 cm) combined with a good balance of nutrients and high calories makes NRG-5 works well in a variety of outdoor applications as well as emergency situations - they can be kept as an iron stockpile for a black hour, or a time of natural disasters until help arrives.
The cube can be consumed immediately dry or wet by pouring water or, for example, milk in advance. NRG-5 is full-bodied in taste, pleasant, slightly sweet.
