A cape, or as some prefer to call it - a "poncho" will do just as well in an urban environment when it's pouring rain and you don't want to get your clothes or suit wet on the way to work.

Ripstop polyester fabric from which the poncho is made is characterized by water resistance and resistance to tearing and abrasion. The cape is equipped with snaps, that allow you to make sleeves or join two identical capes together. This solution allows you to use ponchos as an impromptu bivouac sheet/tarp in order to build a shelter. The hood of the cape has a drawstring hem.
