Ponchos - Helikon - Pencott Wildwood
Poncho - that is, a practical waterproof cape, which can be used as a top layer to protect the body and equipment from rain and wind, or to build a shelter, as a camping sheet - tarp.
Helikon's poncho is made of lightweight, waterproof, quick-drying polyester fabric reinforced with RipStop weave. This makes the poncho durable and resistant to damage.
Ponchos have snaps to make sleeves or join two of the same cape together. The hood is equipped with a drawstring hem. Holes reinforced with steel grommets have been assembled around the perimeter of the poncho, so the cape can be stretched over the lines and build a shelter from the rain.
The big advantage of the cape is low weight and small dimensions when folded - packed in a 14 x 22 cm bag. Poncho takes up little space, is very practical and should undoubtedly be in every bushcraft and survival gear.
