Work Sharp - Electric sharpener - WSKTS MK.2

WorK Sharp WSKTS MK.2 is a refreshed and modernized version of the well-known WSKTS electric sharpener. The sharpener allows you to sharpen all types of knives and tools, providing additional convenience, better control and speed and efficiency of work.

Work Sharp WSKTS MK.2 was created based on the experience and success of the first version of the WSKTS sharpener, offering even better functionality and ease of sharpening. With the use of WSKTS MK flexible abrasive belts.2, gives the possibility of sharpening:

• knives with a smooth blade,
• knives with serrated and curved blades,
• tanto blades,
• filleting knives,
• skinning hooks,
• scissors, axes,
• mower blades,
• other tools with a cutting edge.

Changes in relation to Generation I:

• 2 modes: fast mode for grinding and standard mode for fine sharpening,
• upgraded guide with 2 sharpening angles of 20° and 25° with leather inserts,
• integrated 65° guide for sharpening scissors.

WSKTS MK.2 has a new 2-speed motor with 2 modes of operation:

• low-speed standard for greater control during knife sharpening,
• high speed with the power needed to grind heavy and hard tools such as lawn mower blades, axes and other popular lawn and garden tools.

Such solutions guarantee full control during the process of sharpening knives and allow to adjust the speed of the belt depending on the type of work to be performed.

In the second-generation sharpenerator, two interchangeable guides are replaced by one npad with two sharpening angles: 20° i 25°. Such a solution allowed for convenient sharpening of kitchen knives and outdoor knives without having to reposition the guides.

Further facilitating the sharpening process is use of leather inserts, thanks to which dragging the blade protects it from scratching and polishes the cut. The lower blade guides that help maintain the factory blade profile have also been modified. Flexible design allows the guides to stagger, allowing sharpening along the entire length of the blade. The advantage is that it is more convenient to sharpen knives with the peg located on both sides. Removable guide Work Sharp WSKTS MK.2 also allows the grinding of large tools and technical blades such as. axes and mower blades.

Professional knife makers use grinders and flexible abrasive belts to perfectly sharpen their products. Work Sharp WSKTS MK.2 uses exactly the same technology. Now you will be able to sharpen with this method in your home and workshop, so that your knives and tools were perfectly sharp at all times.

Depending on the condition of the cutting edge, we can use abrasive belts of 3 different gradations for sharpening: 80, 220 and 6000 (included).

The set includes:

• 2 P80 coarse alumina belts (for repair and re-profiling of the cutting edge),
• 2 P220 medium-grain ceramic oxide belts (for proper sharpening),
• 2 silicon carbide 6000 gradation fine belts (for finishing and polishing).

Sharpening scissors

In the sharpener, the manufacturer used an additional 65° guide dedicated to sharpening scissors. Sharpening by hand does not guarantee the derivation of a symmetrical cutting edge. The guide allows you to easily, quickly and, above all, professionally restore the sharpness of your home shears when you need it.
