HEKSA is the slickest tarp you'll see in the field. It is noticeably lighter, larger and easier to handle than our earlier models of tarpaulins. The distinctive feature of HEKSA is its hexagonal shape - the back extended to 360 cm better shields the hammock from the rain. The arched edges of the fabric allow for better tensioning of the fabric, so that rainwater will never accumulate on the tarp in the form of "bowls" (depressions in the fabric formed under the weight of water).
With its discreet color, HEKSA blends in perfectly with the surroundings of a forest camp.
HEKSA's dimensions give spacious shelter during camping trips. You can quietly cook under it, organize your equipment, sleep (even with several people) or simply hide from bad weather. 360 × 300 cm is a size tailored for the best protection of the hammock, which at the same time gives plenty of possibilities.
6 lashing points allow for instant and flawless hanging of the tarp. To make the tarp even easier to handle, there is a system of built-in cable tensioners. The suspension system is simple, can be operated with one hand and does not require knowledge of knots. Just pin the rope to the ground and stretch it. Cable tension regulator automatically locks the cable from loosening.
For added strength, all lashing points are made of laser-cut Hypalon, a rubber-nylon laminate used in the manufacture of military equipment or mountain dinghies, among other things.
HEKSA is made of silylon in microripstop weave with water resistance of 6000 mm H20 according to. manufacturer's research - that's 2x the market standard. The fabric is also windproof and resistant to mechanical damage. Microripstop weave protects fabric from tearing if punctured.
The accompanying manual is designed in colors that take into account color blindness and high contrast, and the tarp lashings
are packed in different colored rubber bands, analogous to the colors of the instructions.
