LeafJumper Blue Lightweight FRN, Satin Plain designed by the founder of Spyderco, Sal Glesser. Based on the popularity of the model RockJumper, Sal went back to the drawing board and created the LeafJumper. Folder with a wide blade made of excellent K390 tool steel with a completely flat grind and very lightweight FRN construction. The perfect companion for everyday excursions!

K390 Microclean® - highest quality modern tool steel. Manufactured using powder metallurgy technology with extremely high corrosion and abrasion resistance. High chromium (Cr) steel 20.0% and doped with vanadium (V) 4.0%. Hardened to between 59-61 HRC. The steel was subjected to vacuum treatment vacuum i cryogenic and double tempering. Manufactured in Austrian steel mills Böhler-Uddeholm.

Head - about the profile Leaf (leaf) with an extremely sharp tip. Full-length curved cutting edge provides exceptional cutting performance with full force, transferring power to the blade stab, guarantees better point strength. Made of hardened in the range of 59-61 HRC japanese stainless steel VG-10. Plain blade Plain was brought out with a ground flat full (Full Flat Grind). Enlarged 14 mm round cutout SpyderHole allows you to open the wedge also in a glove. Handle - in blue, reserved for this type of blade steel. Tbi-Directional textured anti-slip facings (Bi-Directional Texturing) along with notched cuts on the back of the handle (Spine Jimping) strengthen the grip. Made of plastic FRN (Fiberglass Reinforced Nylon), glass fiber reinforced nylon. Sturdy metal hourglass clip with four-way clip positions (up/down, right/left) 4-way clip positions. Hole lanyard hole for attaching the safety wire.

Skeleton - are reinforced by skeletonized stainless steel inserts with cut-out holes to which the handle facings are attached. This provides great strength with a lightweight knife. The whole thing was screwed together with screws torx. Phosphor bronze washers for easy opening and closing.
