Nordic Knife Design - Chef 195 head
Nordic Knife Design - Chef 195 head
After leaving as co-owner of Bris, Dennis Holmbacka founded Nordic Knife Design. Founded by a knife industry veteran as a designer and trader, NKD may be a new name, but behind it lies decades of experience. NKD knives are often minimalist in detail and have an elegant design, features that many would call traditional Scandinavian design. Form follows function. NKD uses the best factories used by many other top brands. With these blades, there is no question of quality issues.
NKD Chef 195 chef's knife is made of the well-known stainless steel 12C27, which works well in knives dedicated to kitchen work. Swedish Sandvik 12C27 stainless steel, from which the head is made, is one of the most widely used stainless steels in Europe.
All-purpose chef's knife
The qualities of the Chef 195 knife will be appreciated by both the beginner culinary fan and the professional chef. The NKD Chef 195 blade design harkens back to Japan's Goyoto, offering a thin, versatile kitchen knife. The long handle set at a slight upward angle from the blade makes this knife handy to use. It is perfect for both vegetable and meat work. The knife is designed to avoid finger contact with the table. Blade handle type full tang is long and full, which provides a firm grip, while having the right balance of the knife.
The head has mounting holes that fit Corby type screws (4.6 mm) or ordinary metal rods.
