LionSteel SR2 Titanium Grey, Satin Blade Folding Knife (SR2 G)

SR2 G Titanium Natural Grey / Satin Blade lightweight, durable folder E.D.C. italian manufactory LionSteel with exclusive technology Solid®. Compact version of the famous SR-1, the first folding knife with exclusive Solid Knife technology.

Design by Molletta, designed by a well-known and respected Italian designer with many years of experience. Michele Pensato (ps. Molletta), is distinguished by a new approach to the use of materials and experiments in the application of heat treatment and the use of advanced software in the design of knives.

Sleipner - blade made of chrome-molybdenum-vanadium high-alloy universal tool steel with high wear and chipping resistance. Achieves high hardness 60-61 HRC. Manufactured at Swedish steel plant Uddeholm.

Head - Drop Point with a clearly marked belly provides excellent cutting edge geometry and extreme cutting performance. Plain blade Plain brought out flat grind (Flat Grind), which perfectly presents a matte satin finishing. Double-sided stud on the sides of the head Thumb Stud, supported by IKBS makes it easy to open the head. On the back of the wedge upper jimping, notched thumb rest.

IKBS - (ball bearing system) allows fast, smooth opening of the wedge.

Solid Frame-Lock - reinforced, monolithic locking blade made of 6AI4V titanium. One of the facings acts as the locking mechanism, and is reinforced with a hardened steel insert to prevent rubbing of the lock face.

RotoLock - locking mechanism with a patented additional locking mechanism in the shape of a titanium disc by Gianni Pauletta. When the knife is open, turning the RotoLock by about 1/8 turn clockwise wedges the locking mechanism, preventing unintentional release of the blade lock, ensures the stability of the blade identical to that of knives with a fixed blade.

Handle - made with technology Solid® Knife, obtained from a single piece of 6AI4V titanium, processed in 3D. As a result, a monolithic skeleton (body) of the highest strength was obtained, which is a solid structural element. Cladding with machined CNC, texture-enhancing grooves perpendicular to the length of the handle for a better grip. The protrusion on the bottom of the handle (hilt) protects the hand from slipping on the blade. Two-position left/right metal clip, allows the knife to be carried in the tip-up position tip-up (tip up). In the back of the grip lanyard hole a hole for the cord and a stainless steel clip mounting screw that can be used as a nailer to break windows.

Packaging - the knife comes in an elegant wooden gift box, which also includes a pivot-pin-adjustment tool wrench for adjusting the opening force of the blade or for attaching the clip.
