The MUT is compatible with most of the standard excluders used to operate the M16/AR-15 family of weapons. In addition, it has an unscrewable tool for knocking out pins maintaining the structure of the weapon. In place of this tool you can tighten the cutter or brushes, which will make it easier for us to work with them. Roughly in the middle of the handle of the folded multitool is a similar, threaded hole, in which you can also attach a notch or brushes. This makes it possible to get quite a large and comfortable handle for the cutter.

The MUT also has a an interchangeable tip socket allowing it to accommodate tips that increase the number of functions many times over. The bits included in the set include a number of tools standardly used to operate weapons of the M16/AR-15 family.

The MUT additionally has the possibility of replacing the most frequently worn parts, so that the life of the multitool can be much longer. Replacement is done with a Torx #8 wrench, goes very quickly and smoothly, so that it is possible on the battlefield.
