With a big smile on our faces, we are introducing to the Laplander store a novelty from the Kupilka brand - Finnish Kuks in an edition with the Moomins.

Each of us surely associates the adventures of hippopotamus-like creatures living in a certain valley in Finland.

Buka is a ghost-like dark purple creature with a powerful stature and pale eyes. Buka is a lone wanderer who has more than natural power to freeze the ground wherever he sets his foot. Everyone is afraid of her however deep down she seems sad and unhappy. Freezing power does not allow it to warm up and for this reason it longs for warmth very much.

Kupilka Kuks are made of biomaterial, specifically, from composite wood based on traditional Finnish design and ecological technologies combine modernity with tradition, which gives them a unique atmosphere.

Composite wood is a thermoplastic natural composite containing 50% pine cellulose fiber and 50% plastic.

The modern material of KUPILKA cookware is perfect for both field and home use. Compared to plastic, the material has a higher resistance to high temperatures and improved durability achieved through a dense structure. Unlike plastic, in composite wood can be engraved, aND compared to wood, composite requires no maintenance, does not absorb odors and is not sensitive to moisture. All Kupilka brand products dishwasher safe.
