Fenix HT18 flashlight - searchlight

Fenix HT18 is a powerful hunting searchlight emitting a stream of 1500 lumens with a range of almost a kilometer, equipped with a battery level indicator, two switches and additional filters that change the color of the light.

Solid aluminum construction

The flashlight tube is made of anodized aluminum A6061-T HA-III, which guarantees high resistance to damage and robustness of construction. Thanks to the cross-moleting of the surface, the flashlight does not slip from the hand, and its grip is well felt.

The optical system is protected by a steel crown, which also allows you to use the flashlight for self-defense techniques. The flashlight, despite the 68 mm head, is handy and comfortable to use, its length is 184 mm, the weight with battery is only 250 g, which is about as much as a sturdy hunting knife.

The battery compartment uses two springs, which guarantee reliability and stability of operation and resistance to recoil of hunting weapons.

Impressive range

The light source is new generation Cree XHP35 Hi-Led diode, generating maximum light output of 1500 lumens for 4 hours 15 minutes (using a 21700 battery). Emitted has a cool white color, ideal for applications requiring maximum brightness.

The human eye perceives "cold light" as stronger, so it is best for illuminating terrain and distant objects. The capabilities of the flashlight are significantly increased by the included included color filters applied to the head.

Red filter works great for night operations, because unlike white light, red light does not blind the user, provides a smooth adaptation of the eyes to see in the dark, makes it easier to read maps and reduces our visibility.

Green color filter is a proven solution for hunters, because the game usually does not respond to the green light, making it easier to approach and take an accurate shot.

The flashlight uses anti-reflective glass with high light transmission and a smooth reflector. Its design makes the the light beam is highly concentrated, resulting in an impressive range of 925 m!

Modes of operation with easy operation

The user has 4 modes of constant light available: turbo, high, medium, low and 1 flash mode: strobe.

Fenix HT18 flashlight is equipped with two switches: main (rear) and side for changing modes. Main button activates momentary light and permanent illumination. The steel side button is responsible for changing the brightness of the light and turning on the strobe.

Thanks to the memory function, the last used light mode is automatically selected the next time the flashlight is activated. Such functionality makes hT18 flashlight is very simple and user-friendly, making it great for hunting, uniformed services work and exploration.

Capacious battery with long operating time

Fenix HT18 is powered by the highest capacity ARB-L21-5000U cell equipped with an innovative charging system via USB-C port (included).

The cell, when fully charged, provides up to up to 61 hours of operation (in low mode). ARB-L21-5000U is currently the highest capacity flashlight power cell, providing much longer operation and consistent current output.

Thanks to its advanced design and multi-level protection, the manufacturer guarantees as many as 500 charging cycles with up to 75% capacity retention.

An alternative to the 21700 battery is the classic 18650 cell (not included), which can also be used by using a polymer adapter.

Battery level indicator

When hunting, it's a good idea to monitor the condition of the battery, which is why the HT18 flashlight uses a low-energy warning system and a simple indicator to let you know its condition.

An LED located in the side switch for 3 seconds after activation of the flashlight informs about the battery level.

Battery level indications:

• constant green light: 100-85%,
• flashing green light: 85-50%,
• constant red light: 50-25%,
• flashing red light: 25-1%.

Additional features

Flashlight remembers last used brightness level. When turned on again, the flashlight automatically activates in this mode (memory function). The flashlight has a high protection rating of IP68, it is therefore resistant to dust, dust, full immersion in water at a depth of 2 m and a drop from a height of 1 m.

The manufacturer also did not forget to include protection against overheating and reverse polarity, as well as a controller with digital current regulation.
