The Classic series of knives is a tribute to the creator of the most popular EDC knives produced by CRKT - Kit Carson, who passed away in the fall of 2014.

The offered knife model is based on the original M16 design. The knives in this series are able to handle most of the tasks that daily life puts before you. This classic folder features a sturdy blade Spear Point made of AUS8 stainless steel with a hardness of 57-59 HRC. The smooth blade features a concave grind and Bead Blast finish. The blade can be extracted very quickly when needed, thanks to the Flipper used in the knife. The flipper not only assists in opening the knife, but creates a small hilt after opening to keep your hands from sliding onto the blade.

The folding knife is equipped with a patented locking device LAWKS®. An additional locking device located in the handle is the Locking Liner. An addition to the knife is a clip that can be mounted in one of four available positions, making it much easier to carry.
