D2 - high carbon, high chrome high-speed tool steel heat-treated to 59-60 HRC. Thanks to its high chromium content 13.0% (Cr) offers greater corrosion resistance than most high carbon steels. Combination of durability, excellent edge holding and easy sharpening. It is characterized by high wear resistance due to the high content of carbides in the microstructure.

Head - wide, type Drop Point finished with an elegant satin finish giving a semi-matte effect. The elongated belly extends the length of the cutting edge relative to the length of the blade converging toward the needle-sharp tip. The small thickness of the blade combined with the high concave grind (Hollow Grind) gives excellent cutting properties combined with high strength. Ceramic ball bearings support the smooth opening of the blade, which can be opened with a double-sided pin in the wedge (Double Thumb Stud) or flipper fins (index-finger flipper) that functions as a intestine. As a result, it can easily be used by people right and left-handed. To maintain full control of the blade, on the back of the wedge upper jimping, notched thumb rest.
