Tactical folder made of ultra-hard CPM-Cruwear 63-65 HRC steel
Following the upgrade, the Benchmade 2750FE-2 Adamas uses an ultra-hard CPM-CruWear steel head, G10 laminate facings and the proven axis lock. Thanks to this design, the knife is popular among soldiers, uniformed services officers and users looking for a handy tool with a durable and reliable design.
CPM-Cruwear - new generation steel
The latest crucible Industries LLC tool steel - CPM-Cruwear hardened to a hardness as high as 63-65 HRC. With excellent wear resistance and strength, CPM-Cruwear can be described as a steel with twice the performance of the original D2 steel. The new formula has been enriched with vanadium, tungsten and molybdenum additives, which give the steel exceptional wear resistance and allow for high hardening. When choosing a knife made of such steel, it is worth getting a diamond sharpener, as sharpening with a standard ceramic whetstone can be very labor-intensive and inefficient.
Head
Wide wedge drop-point with a length of 96 mm,covered with a steel-gray cerakote coating, which protects against minor scratches and emphasizes the tactical nature of the knife. The blade has a sturdy hilt and a flat grind, which guarantees smooth cutting and easy penetration. The head at its widest point is as much as 3.5 mm thick. The back section of the ridge was raised and made with transverse milling, allowing for stable support of the finger while working. Such parameters guarantee the functionality and durability of the knife and make it suitable for demanding tasks.
Proven mechanisms and sturdy handle
The blade can be conveniently and quickly unfolded with one hand using obsided locking slider, so the knife is ready to use in no time. The following are responsible for the safety of work auto Axis-lock mechanism, valued for its high mechanical strength, resistance to dirt and ease of use. The knife uses an additional locking mechanism to prevent accidental unfolding of the blade during handling.
Benchmade's flagship mechanism is responsible for safe operation, double-sided Axis-lock, valued for its tremendous mechanical strength, resistance to dirt, and ease of use for right- and left-handed users.
Benchmade 2750FE-2 Adamas has osand-colored G10 laminate liners made with precise 3D technique. The glass-epoxy laminate used is characterized by light weight, high mechanical strength, resistance to water, temperature change, and the action of many acids and solvents. The contoured shape combined with the cross-milling and rough texture of the plastic provide excellent knife grip and comfort in use. Semi-open handle design makes it easy to keep the knife clean.
Discreet carrying of the knife in the pocket is made possible by a high-set clip with the possibility of mounting on both sides of the handle.
