Work Sharp - Benchtop Precision Adjust Sharpening System
Work Sharp - Benchtop Precision Adjust Sharpening System
Benchtop Precision Adjust is an effective sharpening system equipped with a diamond-ceramic sharpening rod, a rotating vise for holding the knife and a guide with precise sharpening angle adjustment from 15° to 30°. With the Benchtop Precision Adjust system, sharpening knives of all kinds is faster, easier and more precise than ever.
System Features:
- Wide range of sharpening angle: 15-30°,
- precise adjustment in 1° increments,
- a rotating vise for holding the knife,
- sharpening block with 3 abrasive surfaces,
- guide with rubber range of motion stop,
- guide mounted on ball hitch.
The most important task of modern sharpening systems is to ensure the ability to maintain a constant and repeatable sharpening angle between the whetstone and the edge of the blade. The use of the sharpening system eliminates most human error and greatly speeds up the edge repair process cutting and learning the correct sharpening technique.
Work Sharp Benchtop Precision Adjust allows even an inexperienced knife user to create a razor-sharp edge quickly, repeatably and correctly.
Presented sharpening system has adjustable sharpening angle, with three abrasive surfaces. What sets the Benchtop Precision Adjust system apart is its precision and ease of use. The angle at which we sharpen, can be adjusted from 15 ° to 30 °, which allows you to sharpen kitchen knives, edc knives, and outdoor knives.
Applied Tri-Brasive sharpening module uses 2 diamond plates with 320 and 600 gradations, that will quickly and effectively repair the cutting edge. In addition, the Benchtop Precision Adjust, there was a fine-grained ceramic stone used for polishing to give a final mirror effect. The vise with a rotating design is stable and securely holds the knife during sharpening, allowing two edges to be sharpened without removing the knife, as is the case with most generally available sharpening systems.
Sharpening system Work Sharp Benchtop Precision Adjust consists of:
- a frame made of polymer,
- a detachable frame with a sharpening angle adjustment system,
- tri-Brasive sharpening block with integrated guide.
Non-slip feet located on the underside of the base, allow the sharpener to be placed stably on a workbench, countertop or desk. Lightweight and modular design makes the sharpener quick to disassemble, and convenient to carry.
The great advantage of the Work Sharp Precision Adjust system is the following adjustment of the sharpening angle from 15° to 30°. Unlike other sharpening systems on the market, Work Sharp Precision Adjust has a infinitely adjustable sharpening angle with an accuracy of 1°. Thanks to the easy-to-read graduation and large dial, adjustment is precise, convenient and fast.
Suggested sharpening angle setting:
- 15° - filleting knives, kitchen knives,
- 20°- edc knives, pocket knives,
- 25° - large edc folders, hunting knives, outdoor knives,
- 30° - survival knives, heavy duty tools.
Knife handle
V Block Clamp has been constructed in a way that allows stable and secure seating of the knife. The jaws of the vise are covered with rubber, so they further prevent the blade from slipping and protect it from scratching. Opening and locking of the clamp is done without any tools, as there is a convenient knurled ring. The design of the vise is rotatable and not only stably, and securely holds the knife during sharpening, but also allows you to sharpen both edges without removing the knife. V Block Clamp works in a 180° range. After pressing the locking button we can rotate the vise with the knife mounted. The vise is equipped with magnetic mounting, so its seating in the base is easy and convenient.
Tri-Brasive sharpening module
The Work Sharp Benchtop Precision Adjust features a a rotating sharpening block called Tri-Brasive equipped with an integrated guide. This module has 3 abrasive surfaces: 2 diamond plates of 320 and 600 gradation for repairing and sharpening proper and a fine ceramic stone for polishing and quick sharpening.
- Diamond plate 320 it is designed to re-profile and repair a severely dulled cutting edge.
- 600 gradation plate is used for coarse or fine sharpening depending on the degree of damage/dullness of the cutting edge.
- Ceramic stone with high gradation complements the diamond plates. Using it, we can polish the edge to the proverbial razor sharpness and sharpen the knife regularly.
The steel guide of the sharpening block is finished with a ball joint, which guarantees the maintenance of a constant angle and the smoothness of sharpening. The guide attaches magnetically without the need for other tools. The extension range of the guide is adjustable with rubberized rings, depending on the size of the blade.

List of knife safety warnings based on requirements
Regulation (EU) 2023/988 on general product safety
(GPSR):
* Risk of injury: Use the knife carefully and always hold it by the handle. The blade is
very sharp and can cause serious cuts. Don't try to catch a falling
knife.
* Safe storage: the knife should be stored in a safe
place, out of reach of children and unauthorized persons. Use a blade guard if
is available.
* Use as intended: Do not use the knife for purposes for which it is not
intended, for example, for opening cans or loosening screws. This can lead to
knife damage or injury.
* Caution when cleaning: Use caution when cleaning the knife,
to avoid cuts. Do not use aggressive cleaning agents that can
damage the blade.
* Blade maintenance: Sharpen the blades regularly to keep them in good condition. Blunt
knives are more dangerous than sharp ones because they require more force, which
increases the risk of slipping.
* Transporting the knife: When transporting the knife, make sure the blade is secured,
for example, by using a vagina or sheath. This prevents accidental injuries.
* Keep your knife clean: Clean the knife regularly to remove any food debris
or other contaminants. This ensures safe and hygienic use.
* Do not modify the knife: Do not try to modify the knife or repair it yourself,
if you don't have the right skills. This can lead to damage to the knife
or injuries.
* Warning for children: knives are intended for adults only. Do not allow
children to use knives without supervision.
* Disposal: Dispose of used or damaged knives in a safe manner to
prevent accidental cuts.
This product is for adults only, who have knowledge and experience in handling sharp cutting tools. Improper use of the knife can lead to serious injury. The blade of the knife is very sharp and can quickly cut through skin and tissues; so always be very careful when slicing and do not bring your hand close to the cutting edge. To avoid slipping of the knife, it is recommended to cut on a stable and non-slip surface and avoid excessive pressure, which can cause uncontrolled movement of the blade.
Be aware that leaving a knife on the edge of a table, countertop or in easy-to-reach places, especially for children, is a danger. The knife should always be properly secured after finishing work, preferably by putting it down on a stable surface or storing it in specially designed blocks, sheaths or on magnetic strips. Never use a knife for tasks for which it is not intended, such as opening cans or using it as a lever, as this risks both damage to the tool and dangerous accidents.
Blunt blades pose an increased risk of injury because they require more force and tend to slip off the material being cut. Therefore, care should be taken to sharpen the knife regularly to maintain optimal sharpness. It is also necessary to clean and dry the tool regularly to prevent corrosion and bacterial growth. It is recommended to periodically inspect the condition of the handle and blade to detect any cracks, chipping or loosening. If damage is found, the knife should be immediately repaired or replaced with a new copy.
When using the knife, focus solely on the task at hand, avoid talking on the phone or watching TV while slicing, and make sure your work area is well-lit. You are reminded that in some countries or regions there are laws restricting the possession and carrying of knives. Before buying or using a knife, it's a good idea to make sure that using it in your location is allowed under the current law.
Adherence to the above rules will enable safe and efficient use of the knife, minimizing the risk of accidents and ensuring the long life of the tool.
