Wood Robinia Acacia - Block

Robinia, also known as Acacia, was brought to Europe in the 17th century. Very hard and durable wood, very resistant to wood rot. Tannin-rich wood can burn dark when sanded (chemical reaction with ammonia fumes) and is easy to polish due to its high density. This makes it particularly interesting for wood turning work. Outside, robinia can be used without additional chemical protection. Density 770 kg / m³
