Design by Fabrizio Silvestrelli fruit of cooperation with the esteemed Italian knifemaker. Its designs are characterized by the rounded shapes of the liners, bolsters and handles. Liner-Lock Evolution - is basically a modified Frame-Lock. At the heart of the blade locking mechanism is a special hybrid spring: flexible element made of gR5 solid titanium, for maximum flexibility, for durability reinforced with hardened steel insert (W 1.4116) to prevent rubbing of lock face. Precise adjustment of the guide is made possible by the microfiber texture and three screws. The smooth operation of the mechanism is further assisted by system thrust bearings.
N690Co - blade made of high-carbon stainless steel with the addition of cobalt for structural uniformity, subjected to vacuum i cryogenic heat treatment. Hardened in the range of 57-59 HRC. One of the best tool steels in the world today. Manufactured at the Austrian smelter Böhler-Uddeholm.
