THE EDGE campSHARP knife sharpener

The Edge campSHARP is a versatile smooth and serrated knife sharpener designed for camping and outdoor fans that will work great as part of an EDC kit. Thanks to its orange and black color scheme, we can easily find the sharpener when it falls into the grass or locate it in our luggage.

This small sharpener is extremely functional, as it has up to 3 sharpening zones:

• a conical diamond rod used for sharpening serrated blades,
• v-type ceramic sharpener for quick sharpening and polishing of blades
• v-type tungsten carbide sharpener for restoring sharpness to severely dulled cutting edges

Diamond rod is a versatile sharpener with which we can sharpen knives with smooth and serrated cutting edge.

Sharpen the knife with a V-shaped whetstone is simple and does not require experience or special skills. All you need to do is pull the blade through the sharpening slot several times from the root to the end of the blade until satisfactory sharpness is achieved. Carbide picks up steel very strongly, so you should make sure not to press the blade too hard when sharpening. Light strokes using the weight of the tool itself are sufficient.

In addition to its main function of sharpening, the CampSHARP features two additional gadgets that can be very useful in life-threatening situations:

• mini compass for indicative direction
• emergency whistle used to call for help in case of an accident or getting lost in the mountains.

With a steel clip, it can be attached to a backpack, worn with a key ring or on a lanyard.
