This reduces the weight of the tarp and makes it easier to set up properly - the back can also be stretched more easily, ensuring even tension throughout the fabric. Increased the number of lashing attachment points to 19. Dorsal lashings have been equipped with mini-hooks - the suspension system to trees is now knotless.
Tarp Groza is the lightest way to make a simple, effective and easy to use shelter in a hiking environment. It will work great as a roof hung over a hammock and for sleeping on the ground. In a few moves, it can be hung up in a myriad of ways to create an ultralight tent, screen, sun protection or tipi.
Thanks to its distinct color, the Groza can be the primary safety measure when passively waiting for help - fiery orange significantly reduces the time it takes for emergency services to find victims, especially during a weather collapse in the mountains. This color can save lives when fate is decided in minutes.
Dimensions of Terror gives spacious shelter during camping trips. You can quietly cook under it, organize your equipment, sleep (even with several people) or simply hide from bad weather. 3×3 m is a versatile size that offers plenty of possibilities. Groza comfortably accommodates the hammock underneath it, keeping it from getting wet during unforeseen rains.
19 lashing points allow the tarp to be used freely in various roles - gabled canopy, monopitch, "diamond", shelter, closed hammock tent - Groza is a versatile solution. To make the tarp even easier to handle, we used a system of built-in cable tensioners. The suspension system is simple, can be operated with one hand and does not require knowledge of the nodes. Just pin the rope to the ground and stretch it. Cable tension regulator automatically locks the cable from loosening.
We used silylon in a microripstop weave with a water resistance of 6000 mm H20 according to the GROZA. manufacturer's research - that's 2x the market standard. The fabric is also windproof and resistant to mechanical damage. Microripstop weave protects fabric from tearing if punctured.
A unique feature of the Groza is the use of durable polyamide webbing as a reinforcing element of the back and transferring most of the tensile forces. In practice, this means that a tarpaulin hung in the form of a gabled canopy (the most common application) does not suffer from stretching of the fabric - the fabric is, as it were, "hooked up" to the polyamide back. This significantly increases the strength and life of the product.
