Tamarind Wood Moulded - Block

Tamarindus indica is native to Africa, but is cultivated in many countries around the world for its fruit, which is popular in jams, juices, sweets and drinks. Grows to a height of 60 feet with a trunk diameter of up to 2 feet. The wood is hard, bright interspersed often with red contrasting streaks.

Thanks to the fungus infestation, the wood has acquired a unique appearance that guarantees the unique look of the knife handle.
