Yojimbo 2 G-10 Black Plain, designed by Michael D. Janicha well-known expert and trainer in the field of personal defense (Personal Defense Trainer), pioneer of the use of the blade Wharncliffe in tactical folders. Sophisticated ergonomics Yojimbo2 complements the natural curves of the hand, providing maximum contact with the surface and excellent control. It also encourages a forward thumb grip and makes the blade a natural extension of the hand.
CPM S30V - corrosion-resistant, mechanical stress-resistant U.S. powder steel with carbon, chromium and vanadium with a hardness of 58-59 HRC. This unique steel is designed for the manufacture of premium blades and knives. Manufactured at steel mills Crucible Inc.
Compression-Lock - (similar to Liner-Lock) patented by the company Spyderco head locking mechanism. Extremely durable, provides extreme strength and ease of use. Located on the back of the handle, it secures the knife against inadvertent closure. When releasing the lock, fingers are not in the path of the folding head.
Head - about the profile Warncliff, thicknessand 3.7 mm. Plain blade Plain derived concave cut (Hollow Grind). A straight cutting edge with a concave blade provides exceptional cutting performance, transferring power to the the stab of the blade and provides better spot strength. Enlarged 14 mm round cutout SpyderHole (Spyderco patent) allows easy opening of the blade with a glove as well as wet, sweaty hands.
Handle - stainless steel liners and lightweight facings of G-10, durable, resistant to high and low temperatures, chemicals plastic. The whole thing was screwed together with screws torx for easy unfolding/folding of the folder. Metal clip with four-way (top/bottom, right/left) mounting capability 4-way clip positions.
