8Cr13MoV - easy to sharpen, stainless knife steel, equivalent to japanese AUS-8 steel. High content 13.0% chromium and medium 0.8% carbon provide excellent corrosion resistance. Presence 1.0% silicon, 0.3% molybdenum increase steel strength and wear resistance. 8Cr13MoV is characterized by high hardness in the range of 57-59 HRC.

Head - of the shape Drop Point and thickness 3.1 mm provides excellent cutting edge geometry with low friction. The cutting edge was derived full flat grind (Full Flat Grind). Plain blade type Plain extends along the entire length of the blade, allowing powerful cuts with the heel of the blade. Enlarged 14 mm round cutout SpyderHole (Spyderco patent) makes it easy to open the blade, even with a glove.
