Gauntlet Select (603F), a simple and easy-to-use sharpening kit that allows even novice users to get razor-sharp cutting edges in just minutes without using water, ofunnel, complicated clamps or special fittings. Product of an American company Spyderco, manufacturer of the best sharpening systems.
Extremely long rods 228 mm (not found in sharpening kits from other manufacturers), allow sharpening of most knives including kitchen knives. Sharpener designed for right and left-handed users. Optional sharpening rods (# 603CBN) CBN collect steel to a much higher degree than diamond rods.
Multifunctional base - injection-molded, made of plastic ABS. Specially designed holes hold the abrasive rods at the perfect angle 40° (20 degrees per side) to ensure sharp, durable edges. Holes in star-shaped, allow bars to be rotated to use clean abrasive surfaces that have not yet been used, or to set bar angles to sharpen serrated edges. Integrated protector protects the hand from injury.

Usage:
Thanks to the unique shapes of the rods, the set of Gauntlet Select sharpen quickly any edge. To sharpen a knife guide edge of the blade along the bar perpendicularly from top to bottom. Set at a preset angle, the rods allow alternate sharpening of both sides. We use the edges of the rods to sharpen serrated blades. Finally, clean the rods and the knife edge carefully.
