The knife is handmade from high-carbon steel, hardened and well-sharpened. Sharpening of the blade allows cutting both soft and hard woods. The knife is very sharp, and thanks to the use of carbon steel and proper hardening it holds its sharpness for a long time.
The blade is sharpened on both sides, spun at the end and contoured to pull off deep and wide strands of wood.
The comfortable handle of the knife is made of ash, well polished and coated with natural linseed oil.
