The spark catcher is attached to the flue as the last segment, and the sparks that fly out of the chimney are extinguished on the metal grate. In this way, you reduce the risk of fire and protect your shelter, as well as the surrounding area. In addition, by using a spark arrestor, you prevent moisture or leaves from entering from above, and the flue always remains clean. The spark catcher provides additional stability to the whole chimney: with three mounting loops, the spark catcher can be attached to the tent / tipi or fastened to the ground. This makes the chimney even more stable and even resistant to strong winds.
