Silva is a Swedish company that has been in business since 1933. The company started by producing compasses for orienteering. Today's liquid-filled compasses and compasses are thanks to SILVA. Silva compasses are top quality equipment that's why they are often used by soldiers around the world.

The Ranger has illuminated (fluorescent) characters on the needle and on the limbus, with the help of which the compass can be successfully use also at night. Precision, reliability, and the ability to work in noses have made this compass a often on the equipment of special forces. In addition, the magnifying glass on the plate allows you to use the compass even more precisely. The kit comes with instructions and a cord for hanging around the neck with a special "safety" clasp that undoes itself when the cord is tightened tightly.
