The presented model is the latest version with improved and more clearer color scheme, equipped with a clear needle and directional line. In addition, the compass has a lanyard with printed scales 1:25,000 and 1:50,000, which, by being placed on a flexible tape, can be easily applied to the map increasing the accuracy of the reading.
The compass comes with a card that, by measuring the intervals between the horizons on the map, will show us the average angle of the terrain. By reading the average angle of slope, the card will tell us if we are entering an area potentially at risk of snow avalanches.
The rotating disc has a handle made of special DryFlex™ rubber, which guarantees a firm and comfortable grip, and 3 silicone feet will allow precise work with the map. The rotating dial is equipped with the 6400 scale used by NATO armies (thousandth with excess).
