Blade

The Silky Pocketboy Outback Edition 170-10 saw blade is manufactured from high-carbon steel precisely cut thanks to laser technology. The surface of the saw is covered with a black coating of a special mixture of nickel and tin which ensures incredible durability of the blade making it ideal not only for cutting wood but also other harder materials. Once opened, the saw is secured against accidental folding thanks to a secure and strong locking mechanism that we can easily operate with our thumb.

The main advantage of the Silky Pocketboy Outback Edition 170-10 saws is the Mirai Me blade teeth with 4 cutting angles and induction hardening which makes them extremely sharp and hard. Only the edges of the teeth are hardened, so the rest of the blade remains flexible. This is a huge advantage of Silky saws, which, thanks to their flexibility, are not prone to easy breakage like most cheaper folding saws. The cutting part of the saw is ground in the shape of an hourglass (conical cut), thanks to which nhe possibility of locking the saw while cutting. The profile of the teeth reduces the resistance during cutting, and the material being cut is not jerked.
