The surface of the saw is chrome-plated, which protects it from rusting and the harmful effects of external factors. Once opened, the saw is secured against accidental folding thanks to a secure and strong locking mechanism that we can easily operate with our thumb.

The main advantage of the Silky Katanaboy 500-5 saws is the blade teeth, which, thanks to grinding in four planes and induction hardening, are extremely sharp and hard. Only the edges of the teeth are hardened, so the rest of the blade remains flexible. This is a huge advantage of Silky saws, which, thanks to their flexibility, are not prone to easy breakage like most cheaper folding saws. The cutting part of the saw is ground in the shape of an hourglass, thanks to which nhe possibility of locking the saw while cutting.
