Silky Gomboy is a proposal of saws from Silky, which, due to their durability, performance as well as versatility of applications, have achieved great success all over the world, including Poland.

Silky introduces a new, upgraded version of the saw, popular in the bushcraft, survival, hunting and fishing communities. The aforementioned upgrade concerns the blade, which has an arched shape thanks to which the saw's efficiency has been increased, especially when we need to cut off a branch that is above our shoulders.

Blade

Silky Gomboy Curve 240-8 saw blade is manufactured from high-carbon SK4 steel precisely cut thanks to laser technology. The surface of the saw is chrome-plated, which protects it from rusting and the harmful effects of external factors. Once opened, the saw is secured against accidental folding thanks to a secure and strong locking mechanism that we can easily operate with our thumb.

The main advantage of the Silky Gomboy Curve 240-8 saws is the blade teeth, which, thanks to four-plane grinding and induction hardening, are extremely sharp and hard. Only the edges of the teeth are hardened, so the rest of the blade remains flexible. This is a huge advantage of Silky saws, which, thanks to their flexibility, are not prone to easy breakage like most cheaper folding saws. The cutting part of the saw is ground in the shape of an hourglass, thanks to which nhe possibility of locking the saw while cutting. The profile of the teeth reduces the resistance during cutting, and the material being cut is not jerked.

Handle

The Silky Gomboy Curve 240-8 saw has a very comfortable handle made of durable and rubberized plastic. Polypropylene handle material prevents the saw from slipping out of your hand and provides comfortable and secure operation.

Saw is equipped with blade with a length of 240 mm. Per 30mm blade there are 8 teeth every makes such a saw great for sawing fresh boughs of wood up to 105 mm in diameter.
