The main advantage of Silky Bigboy saws is the blade teeth, which are extremely sharp and hard thanks to four-plane grinding and induction hardening. Only the edges of the teeth are hardened, so the rest of the blade remains flexible. This is a huge advantage of Silky saws, which, thanks to their flexibility, are not prone to easy breakage like most cheaper folding saws.
The cutting part of the saw is ground in the shape of an hourglass, so that there is no possibility of the saw blocking while cutting. The profile of the teeth reduces resistance during cutting, and the material being cut is not jerked.
