Brad Zinker - after graduating from college with a degree in fine art photography, while working in the industry he stumbled into the world of handmade custom knives. His fascination with knives led him to make his own. In 1998, he was accepted into the Knifemakers Guild and it just opened his eyes and gave him many new ideas about knives and knife-making techniques. He likes to design slim, lightweight knives that are comfortable to carry and use.
D2 - high-carbon, high-chromium high-speed tool steel heat-treated to 58-60 HRC. Thanks to the high content of 13.0% chromium (Cr) offers greater corrosion resistance than most high-carbon steels. Combination of durability, excellent edge holding and easy sharpening. It is characterized by high wear resistance due to the high content of carbides in the microstructure.
Head - type Drop Point with a slightly marked belly finished masking minor scratches by Gray Stonewashed. The small thickness of the wedge, combined with the high, flat grinding gives excellent cutting edge geometry and extreme cutting performance.
