Schrade Leroy Full Tang Bowie Fixed Blade Knife - SCHF45
Strong, large and solidly made Leroy SCHF45 survival knife made by Schrade company.
Bowie type blade with full tang construction and 4.75 mm thick made of high-carbon 8Cr13MoV stainless steel. The head is coated with a non-stick coating that protects against corrosion and glare and makes it easy to cleantitanium layer.
The properly contoured shape of the lower part of the grip and the notched thumb area on the upper part are protected against sliding of the hand on the blade.
Ergonomically shaped handle with finger moldings and non-slip texture is made of durable TPE thermoplastic rubber.
At the end of the grip is a hole for a lanyard. Another hole located on the hilt allows m.in. braiding a finger guard from paracord.
The set includes rigid, made of nylon with a touch of glass fiber, sheath with mounting to a belt with a maximum width of 5 cm.

Sharpening and maintenance. Don't make the tool too dull. Sharpen your knife on dedicated whetstones and sharpeners. Your tool should be cleaned, dried and oiled regularly. Especially after use in humid environments.
