Savotta Saddle Sack 339 is more than just an ordinary backpack, it's actually a a combination of a classic and functional backpack from the 1950s, modern high quality materials with a large Bergen outer frame. The backpack has classic design and a clever carry frame system making it ideal for longer bushcraft and survival expeditions.

The backpack is made of classic, durable thick cotton fabric additionally impregnated with paraffin, the straps are made of polyamide, the military grade buckles are made of plastic and the frame is high quality properly welded stal.

Partitions

The main compartment of the backpack is closed by a drawstring covered with a flap secured with additional straps. The straps of the backpack are quite long so you can use them to attach a carrimat or blanket. Thanks to the side zipper on the right side of the backpack, we can get quick and easy access to the main compartment without having to open the main zippers. Special strings on the sides are used to tighten the backpack to increase its strength when traveling with a light load and great work well for attaching tools, axes, for example.

Side pockets are ideal for packing large thermoses and other bulky, long objects. In the large outer pocket you can pack many small items gaining quick and easy access to them.

Carrying system

The frame of the support system is made of high quality properly welded steel. The lower part of the frame is specially curved so that the the backpack can stand stably even on uneven rocky ground.

Savotta Saddle Sack 339, thanks to its supportive carrying system, is very comfortable to wear. Infinitely adjustable length of the carrying system allows to adjust the backpack to users of different height. The upper part of the back rests on a stretched mesh fabric, and the lower part of the back rests on a saddle with a strap, which makes it backpack does not touch the back for the most part, thanks to which we are protected from excessive sweating.

Shoulder straps are slightly wider than usual and padded, a chest strap with buckle provides us with additional support. The support point for the shoulder straps is located at the top of the frame. We can easily adjust the center of gravity of the backpack even while walking by tightening and loosening the shoulder harness adjustment straps.
