DETAILED DESCRIPTION

The main compartment jest closed with an extremely simple and effective system: the opening of the main compartment folds in on itself when the lid is closed, creating a secure seal. Zippered pocket in lid provides secure storage for wallet, keys, travel documents and phone.

Fastening system and side compression straps provide a secure fit to the volume of the backpack. Fasten it tightly or loosen it depending on the load being carried. The capacity of the Jääkäri S can be adjusted from 20 to 30 liters, depending on how the top cover is folded down.

The hydration chamber is attached to the inner rear wall. Grommets on both sides allow the hydration tube to be routed on the left or right side, leaving the other grommet free for other uses such as antennas or cables.

The low-profile harness is made of 40 mm wide webbing. The 25mm webbing on top of the shoulder straps allows you to attach chest straps, hydration tubes, etc.

MILITARY GRADE MATERIALS

Most of the materials we use in our commercial production are the same materials that we use in equipment for the Finnish Armed Forces and other defense and security customers. Our most commonly used fabric in cargo handling equipment is extremely abrasion resistant Cordura 1000D, according to FDF specifications, with polyurethane coating on the inside. The webbing and edge tapes we use are, again according to FDF specifications, strong polyester tapes in various widths and thicknesses for different applications.

Our green and M05 camouflage materials and accessories comply by default with the FDF's strict specifications for NIR reflectivity levels, which should be, since the same materials are used in official military equipment.

MODULARITY

PALS straps on the sides and lid allow you to attach additional loaders and armor. This system offers numerous options to configure the package to fit your specific needs. Not only for loaders, PALS webbing can also be used to attach tool belts, shock cord, carabiners, etc. Four loops at the bottom can be used to attach tool belts.

Jääkäri S can be rolled up into a fairly tight pack and carried in a larger backpack for use as a daypack.
