202 is an original, incredibly durable backpack made by Savotta, a Finnish company that specializes in manufacturing m.in for the Finnish army.

Extremely simple and very durable small daypack of the Finnish Airborne Jaegers (LJK). If you are looking for an everyday backpack for the rest of your life, the 202 backpack, as the manufacturer calls it, is an excellent choice!

The 202 can be carried in a larger backpack, from where it can be removed for shorter trips. The original application idea was that longer walks and excursions were done with the LJK backpack, and the 202 was taken out and packed with the necessary equipment for shorter reconnaissance trips, etc.

MAIN FEATURES

Main compartment of the Backpack (dimensions approx. 42 x 27 x 15 cm) is closed with a two-way zipper. There are no extra compartments inside, so even special and large items will fit.

Outer pocket (dimensions approx. 15 x 23 x 5 cm) is closed with a zipper. It is convenient for smaller items that may be needed quickly.

The 202's shoulder straps are very simple, and use plastic buckles to adjust their length. To ensure that the shoulder straps are firmly positioned and do not slip, thread the strap through the buckle once first, and after adjusting the length, run the free end of the strap through the free hole again to lock it in place.

The backpack can also be carried by hand by holding the the extra strong two-piece handle.

MILITARY GRADE MATERIALS

Most of the materials we use in our commercial production are the same materials that we use in equipment for the Finnish Armed Forces and other defense and security customers. Our most commonly used fabric in cargo handling equipment is extremely abrasion resistant Cordura 1000D, according to FDF specifications, with polyurethane coating on the inside. The webbing and edge tapes we use are, again according to FDF specifications, strong polyester tapes in various widths and thicknesses for different applications.

Our green and M05 camouflage materials and accessories comply by default with the FDF's strict specifications for NIR reflectivity levels, which should be, since the same materials are used in official military equipment.
