Polar Puukko 75 knife it's a basic Finnish knife - puukko. The knife has a durable carbon steel blade, 3 mm thick and 77 mm long. The blade is made of stainless steel (X50CrMoV15), whereby the knife is corrosion resistant and easy to sharpen. The blade of the knife has a scandinavian cut, which predisposes them to demanding applications.
Polar Puukko knife has a traditional handle, which provides comfortable grip and ergonomic work. The handle is made of karelian birch and enriched with birch, leather and brass spacers. Due to the fact that the the knife's shank goes all the way through the handle and is riveted to the back head, the knife is very durable.
Handle impregnated with natural linseed oil. Handle finished with the attention to detail characteristic of handmade knives.
Included with the Lappi knife we receive handmade, decorated, traditional Finnish leather scabbard. Vagina holds the knife well and has a rigid insert to protect the blade.
