Perun 2 by Olight is a lightweight and durable angle flashlight, which, thanks to the attached headband, can also be used as a headlamp. The flashlight is equipped with a powerful LED Cool White LED and PMMA TIR (lens/collimator) optics, which generates a maximum light output of 2500 lumens with a range of 166 meters. The Perun 2 also has proximity sensor, so that the light output is automatically reduced when the flashlight head is too close to an object.
The body of the flashlight is made of aircraft aluminum covered with hard anodization type III and has non-slip texture so that it fits securely in your hand. Thanks to the sealing system O-rings, achieved water resistance of IPX-8 which guarantees immersion resistance to a depth of up to 2m for 30 minutes.
The glass covering the LED is made of borosilicon glass, which is resistant to mechanical damage and thermal shock.
Olight Perun is equipped with advanced electronic system, which controls the current consumption directed to the extremely efficient LED. Thanks to the system used, the flashlight always shines with the same power, until the battery is completely discharged, regardless of the mode used. The system also protects the diode from overheating in maximum mode, reducing power to 800 lumens after 2.5 minutes when the diode reaches too high a temperature. As soon as the temperature of the diode returns to normal, the flashlight shines again at maximum power.
The Perun 2 flashlight is powered by the included custom battery 21700 with a capacity of 4000 mAh, which can be charged via the olight MCC3 2A magnetic USB charger (included), which is up to 33% more efficient than the previous version.
Install the battery by unscrewing the rear cap. The flat shape of the cap is allows the flashlight to be placed vertically. The cap was additionally equipped with strong magnet, with which we can attach the flashlight to any steel surface. The magnet is especially useful during work where we need to have both hands free, for example: in the car workshop.
Perun 2 is equipped with low status information system battery (less than 10%), which informs us through repeated vibrations every 30 seconds.
The flashlight comes with a headband with a silicone grip, so the flashlight can also be used as a headlamp.
Removable clip on the body of the flashlight allows you to conveniently attach it to the edge of your pocket, belt or gear strap.
Convenient carrying is provided by a removable elastic clip. It will allow you to clip the flashlight to the edge of your pocket or gear strap.
