Nikwax Cotton Proof™ is specifically designed and optimized for cotton, cotton-polyester blends and tarps: provides durable water repellency (DWR) while maintaining breathability.

Cotton articles can absorb water simply because they are soiled. First of all, try cleaning things with Nikwax Tech Wash®, and if they are fairly new or have recently been re-waterproofed, cleaning alone will be enough to enhance the Durable Water Repellency (DWR). But if the items have already been heavily used, waterproof them by adding a DWR coating by using Nikwax Cotton Proof™ after cleaning them with Nikwax Tech Wash®.

Nikwax Cotton Proof™ is quick and easy to apply while washing in the machine, and applying the product while washing in the machine ensures that the product will pass through the garment. Durable water repellency (DWR) is produced during air drying and since there is no need to dry the garment in an automatic dryer, energy is saved.
