Muela Full Tang Micarta Brown 130mm Knife (GAVILAN-C)

GAVILAN-C universal knife with construction full tang with a fixed blade, manufactured from steel molybdenum-vanadium steel MoVa. Better balanced with reduced weight, an excellent tool that will work in a wide range of applications, hunting, survival trips, camping. Real 4x4 vehicle among knives.

The steel was subjected to cryogenic treatment (heat treatment at negative temperatures) tzw. CRYO-T, also known as freezing. With CRYO-T, we obtain homogeneous internal structure of steel which translates into a significant increase in the strength of the wedge, increasing resistance to impact, stress and torsion.

Head - about the profile Drop Point, thickness 4.5 mm coated with a glare-eliminating, non-reflective coating Satin Finish (semi-mat). Made of hardened in the range of 57-58 HRC, durable molybdenum-vanadium stainless steel X50CrMoV15. The blade is characterized by good mechanical properties and long sharpness retention. Plain blade type Plain brought out flat grind (Flat Grind).

Handle - profiled, covered with non-slip waterproof facings made of micarta in color brown, provides excellent grip / secure hold. The enlarged protrusion acts as a intestine, protects the hand from accidental slipping while working. In the back of the handle, an enlarged hole with an interwoven rope paracord.

Etui - extended, protecting the head along with part of the handle. Made of the highest quality cowhide in brown embossed with the manufacturer's logo. The scabbard was stitched on the edges with decorative thread. Attaches to a belt or a mount for carrying the knife in an upright position.
