GAVILAN universal knife with a fixed blade of construction full tang, made of steel molybdenum-vanadium steel MoVa. This is an excellent quality tool that will work in a wide range of applications, hunting, survival expeditions, camping. The steel was subjected to cryogenic treatment (heat treatment at negative temperatures) tzw. CRYO-T, also known as freezing. Thanks to CRYO-T we obtain homogeneous internal structure of steel which translates into a significant increase in the strength of the wedge, increasing resistance to impact, stress and torsion.
Head - about the profile Drop Point and thickness 4.5 mm coated with a glare-eliminating, non-reflective coating Satin Finish (semi-mat). Made of hardened in the range of 57-58 HRC, durable molybdenum-vanadium stainless steel X50CrMoV15. The blade is characterized by good mechanical properties and long sharpness retention. Plain blade Plain brought out flat grind (Flat Grind). At the base of the head brass hilt prevents hands from slipping on the blade.
Handle - covered with facings made of moled (engraved) wood beech providing a comfortable, secure grip. The covers are fixed with rivets made of polished brass.
Etui - extended, protecting the head along with part of the handle. Made of leather in the color brown with embossed company logo. The scabbard was stitched on the edges with decorative thread. Attachment to a belt or a mount allows the knife to be carried in an upright position.
