1.4116 (X50CrMoV15) - molybdenum-vanadium high-carbon, martensitic stainless steel, highly resistant to corrosion and wear. Used in the manufacture of knives, high-end cutlery and surgical instruments. It is characterized by a fairly high hardness, as for stainless steels 56-58 HRC. The chemical composition of the steel was enriched by doping 15.0% Chromium, 0.80% Molybdenum, 0.20% Vanadium.
The steel was subjected to cryogenic treatment CRYO-T, also known as freezing. Thanks to CRYO-T we obtain homogeneous internal structure of steel which translates into a significant increase in the strength of the wedge, increasing resistance to impact, stress and torsion.
Head - wide, massive blade type Drop Point elegantly finished Satin-finished. Despite the thickness, the grind flat provides excellent cutting properties combined with outstanding durability. Slightly descending garda prevents fingers from slipping on the blade while working.
Handle - made of beautiful and durable granite-resin mix. Contoured handle eliminates sharp edges for comfortable grip. Brass pins, maintain the rigidity of the whole structure. Garda made of brass. In the rear part, a through pin for threading a security cable.
Vagina - hand-sewn, made of the highest quality cowhide in brown embossed with the manufacturer's logo. The edges of the case are stitched with decorative thread. Belt attachment allows the knife to be carried in an upright position upright.
