Care Plus® Anti-Insect DEET 40% Insect Spray is one of the strongest insect repellent formulations for use on the skin. Suitable for use both in tropical regions (malaria, dengue fever risk) and in Europe. Mosquito and mosquito repellent with the active ingredient DEET prevents the bites of a great many insects, including ticks. Repellent with DEET 40% is particularly effective against mosquitoes and gnats, effective against ticks, quite effective against large gnats, mosquitoes and whiteflies. Insect repellent with DEET is applied directly to the skin.
Repellent with DEET 40% is particularly effective against:
- common mosquitoes of the genus Culex (Europe)
- tiger mosquitoes (Aedes) carrying dengue, yellow fever, West Nile fever, Japanese encephalitis
- forked mosquitoes (Anopheles maculipennis) transmitting malaria
- ticks carrying Lyme disease and tick-borne encephalitis

Application:
Repellent Care PLus with deet 40% also works as an insect repellent when sprayed on clothes or bedding made of fabrics such as cotton or wool. Do not use on leather, silk, as well as synthetic fiber blended fabrics, as this may damage or discolor them.
Care Plus insect repellent with deet 40% should not be used by pregnant women.
