Morakniv Basic 546 LE 2023 is a limited edition version of the well-known and proven bushcraft knife 546, which has conquered the Polish outdoor market thanks to its excellent quality-to-price ratio. In the anniversary series presented for 2023, the manufacturer has opted for a scandinavian red (red dala) - yellow colors.
Blade
Model 546 SE 2022 is a handy work knife with a fixed blade made of made of Swedish hardened stainless steel with a hardness of 57-58 HRC. Steel with such parameters is characterized by high resistance to corrosion, retains its sharpness for a long time and is very easy to sharpen even in field conditions.
Stainless steel as opposed to carbon steel does not require special maintenance, except for regular sharpening and keeping the blade clean. Profile head drop-point has a length 95 mm and classic scandinavian cut, making the knife perfect as a working tool and able to handle most tasks. The blade is optimally designed, and the ideal balance between length and width, gives the knife a versatility of applications.
Handle
The handle is contoured, made of polymer resistant to mechanical damage and difficult weather conditions. The grip is handy and comfortable to use, and the the rider protects the hand user before the user's hand slips on the blade.
The knife will be excellent for everyday outdoor activities. For safe carrying of the knife on the belt we get complete with polymer sheath with locking mechanism on a so-called push-in.
