LionSteel Thrill Aluminum Black / Satin Blade Folding Knife (TL A BS)

Thrill Aluminum Black (Solid folding knife), an ultra-light classic folder from the Italian manufactory LionSteel, evidence of the achievement of very high technological development used in the production of knives. Equipped with a mechanism SlipJoint, "no lock", built from a single piece of material. An excellent tool for most cutting jobs, socially friendly and legal in most countries.

Design by Molletta, designed by a well-known and respected Italian designer with many years of experience. Michele Pensato (ps. Molletta), is distinguished by a new approach to the use of materials and experiments in the application of heat treatment and the use of advanced software in the design of knives.

M390 - head made of the highest quality modern powder steel, with extremely high resistance to corrosion and abrasion. High-chromium vanadium-doped steel with a hardness of 60-61 HRC. Manufactured at the Austrian smelter Böhler-Uddeholm.

SlipJoint - "no lock" non-blocking mechanism used in folders. Uses spring-loaded pressure on the flat notch on the back of the blade to keep the blade open during use. Slip Joint holds the wedge in both the folded and unfolded positions. Force is required to fold / unfold the knife.

IKBS - (ball bearing system) allows fast, smooth opening of the wedge.

Head - about the profile Drop Point provides excellent cutting edge geometry. Plain blade Plain brought out full flat grind (Full Flat Grind), which perfectly presents matte satin blade finish. Knife opened with notches on both sides of the blade nail nick.

Handle - made with technology SOLID Knife of one piece of aluminum Ergal, machined using CNC machine tools CNC. This resulted in a single skeleton (body), which is a strong, solid structural element. Non-slip texture for a better grip.

H.WAYL - (Hide What Annoys You Lionsteel) hidden right-side clip allowing the knife to be carried in the tip-up (tip up). The clip is ejected using only the button. A solution appreciated during long-term use of the knife, when the classic stand-off clip can interfere with work.
