LionSteel Tactical Green Canvas Micarta / Satin Blade knife (T5 CVG)

T5 CVG, compact version of the tactical T7, legendary knife from Italian manufactory LionSteel. The goal was to create a more manageable, easier-to-carry, but still reliable big-blade tool for any field application. Also aimed at enthusiasts of bushcraft, survival and hunting. A knife that will serve for years!

Design by Molletta, designed by a well-known, respected Italian designer with many years of experience. Michele Pensato (ps. Molletta), is distinguished by a new approach to the use of materials and experimentation in the application of heat treatment and the use of advanced software in the design of knives.

Niolox - tool steel with good edge holding and high strength. Hardened between 58-63 HRC. It is characterized by aggressive cutting and good impact strength. The name comes from the element niobium (Nb), one of the best carbides, which contributes to the wear resistance of the steel. Niolox includes it 0.7%. Easy to sharpen with moderate corrosion resistance, contains 8.5% chromium. Manufactured by German steel mill Lohmann.

Head - solid in profile Drop Point with a well-defined belly. Satinized smooth blade Plain brought out flat grind (Flat Grind) provides strength and the tapering of the blade towards the shank reduces weight improving the geometry of the cutting edge. On the back of the wedge upper jimping, notched thumb rest for better knife control

Handle - made in technology Solid®, obtained from a unique block (one piece) of waterproof Micarta. As a result, a monolithic skeleton (body) of the highest strength was obtained, which is a strong, solid structural element. Grip facings have been machined 4D obtaining an anti-slip texture with excellent adhesion. Enlarged protrusion acts as a gut protecting the hand from slipping on the blade. Arbor with lanyard hole, hole for the cable, it can also function as a hammer.

Vagina - extended, protects the head along with part of the handle. Made of fleshy natural leather in color black embossed with the manufacturer's logo. Fastened with a latch type Prym, the case is stitched on the edges with decorative thread. Compatible with the standard M.O.L.L.E. mounting allows the holster to be carried on the belt or on the equipment in position vertical.
