M5 G10 a medium-sized, all-purpose knife from the Italian manufactory LionSteel. The goal was to create an easy-to-carry, reliable knife with low weight for all kinds of outdoor work. Versatile knife outdoor of construction full tang with Swedish steel head Sleipner, aimed at enthusiasts of survivalists, hunting, lovers of other outdoor activities.
Design by Molletta, designed by a well-known, respected Italian designer with many years of experience. Michele Pensato (ps. Molletta), is distinguished by a new approach to the use of materials and experimentation in the application of heat treatment and the use of advanced software in the design of knives.
Sleipner - chrome-molybdenum-vanadium, high-alloy universal tool steel with high wear and chipping resistance. Achieves high hardness 60-61 HRC. Manufactured at Swedish steel plant Uddeholm.
Head - extremely sharp with a profile of Drop Point, with marked belly, ideal for any work. Satinized smooth blade Plain derived with a high flat grind (Flat Grind), high grind guarantees excellent cutting properties. Enlarged hilt protects the hand from slipping on the blade.
Handle - milled facings with non-slip texture provide excellent grip. Made of damage-resistant, chemical-resistant, temperature-resistant plastic G10. Mounted with screws Torx T8 stainless steel. Flat mandrel helpful to light a fire with the help of a flint, emergency can act as hammer or glass breaker, in addition lanyard hole, cable hole.
Vagina - made of abrasion-resistant, waterproof Cordura in black with additional pocket for sharpening stone, flint or small accessories. Compatible with the standard M.O.L.L.E. attachment allows the holster to be carried on the belt or on the equipment.
