M5B G10 Black / Black Blade, a medium-sized, all-purpose knife from the Italian manufactory LionSteel. The goal was to create an easy-to-carry, reliable knife with low weight for all kinds of outdoor work. Versatile knife outdoor of construction full tang with Swedish steel head Sleipner, aimed at enthusiasts of survivalists, hunting, lovers of other outdoor activities.
Design by Molletta, designed by a well-known, respected Italian designer with many years of experience. Michele Pensato (ps. Molletta), is distinguished by a new approach to the use of materials and experimentation in the application of heat treatment and the use of advanced software in the design of knives.
Sleipner - high-alloy chrome-molybdenum-vanadium universal tool steel with high wear and chipping resistance. Achieves high hardness 60-61 HRC. Manufactured at Swedish steel plant Uddeholm.
PVD + Stone Washed - the durability of the surface of the wedge and the cutting edge has been increased by the method of PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) by deposition of thin films from the gas phase and subjected to a fine scratch-masking finish Stone Washed. The applied coating has a very high hardness, which significantly increases the resistance of the blade to abrasive wear.
