HUBA is a mini hammock for your backpack, clothes and shoes. A simple and effective answer to the question: what to do with things when I lie in a hammock? Such a "carrier" is always at hand, never touches the ground, makes it easy to access equipment.
Luggage protection
HUBA is made of waterproof ripstop fabric - the same fabric we use to sew tarps. It does not absorb and does not let moisture through, so that the luggage placed in it will always be safe. It won't get wet, dirty or frosty. Since the HUBA is a mini-hammock, the luggage placed in it will not get carried away on the ground, will not roll down the slope, will not accidentally fall under your feet, and small items will not fall into the tall grass undergrowth - because the luggage hangs safely under your main hammock!
We have selected the dimensions of the HUBA so that it can comfortably accommodate at the same time a backpack with a capacity of 55 liters, clothes that we take off before going to bed, shoes and a small kidney-type bag. The maximum size of the backpack that will fit entirely in the HUB is about 70 liters.
The maximum load we recommend for the HUBA is 15 kg.
HUBA is not a simple piece of fabric that you improvisingly tie with a section of string to your hammock system. We wanted above-average usability for our mini-hammock, so the HUBA has:
- Instant mounting system - a laser-cut hook is used for this purpose. This is our original design made by a master metallurgist at Melon Tools studio. The hook is a small work of applied art and a brilliantly simple solution. You will also find it in the suspension systems of our tarps.
- Intuitive adjustment system with built-in tensioner / cable length adjuster
- The edges of the luggage compartment trimmed with elastic edging that visibly helps keep luggage inside
The HUB comes with its carrying case and illustrated instruction manual, also designed for people with color blindness.
VERY IMPORTANT INFORMATION
HUBA IS NOT A BABY OR PET HAMMOCK.
Its purpose is solely to store luggage. Hug your little one while lying in an "adult" hammock.
