Lappi knives are made by knifemakers from the Finnish manufactory Lappituote. It's handmade traditional finnish knives characterized by practicality, durability, quality and friendly price.
Lappi 85 knife it's a basic Finnish knife - puukko. The knife has a durable carbon steel blade with a thickness of 3 mm and a length of 85 mm. The blade is made of Scandinavian carbon steel characterized by high hardness (58-59 stp. HRC), whereby lappi knives stay sharp for a long time. The blade of the knife has a scandinavian cut, which predisposes them to demanding applications.
Lappi knife has a traditional, beautifully contoured handle, which provides a comfortable grip and ergonomics of work. The handle is made of karelian birch and enriched with spacers made of brass, leather and reindeer antler. Handle impregnated with natural linseed oil. Handle finished with the attention to detail characteristic of handmade knives.
Included with the Lappi knife we receive handmade, decorated, traditional Finnish leather scabbard. Vagina holds the knife well and has a rigid insert to protect the blade.
